We are not able to accept book donations at this time, but we do have an Amazon Wish List of new books we are looking to add to the collection!

While we appreciate all the book donations given so far, we are unable to take any more book donations for the time being. We have received so many donations but it takes us a while to sort through and process them and we have limited storage space at the library.

If you have any questions, or may like to donate in the future when we’re able to accept donations again, feel free to contact us.

When we resume accepting donations, we will accept new and gently used books that fall within the following categories:

• Children’s, young adult, and picture books published within the last 5 years, especially those that feature African American, Native American, and Latino/Latina characters, history, and culture.
• Adult fiction and non-fiction books relating to African American literature, culture, history, and art.
• Books related to historical and present-day social justice organizing.

CONDITION

We ask that all donated books be in excellent condition, which includes the following:

• Freedom from loose pages
• Freedom from dirt, mildew, mold, or yellowing
• Minimal to no highlighting, annotations and other marks (we can blot out marks from previous libraries and collections)
